Award-winning author Cathy Gilmore pours her passion into energizing children, families, and schools with the transforming power of virtue. Cathy grew up as a child who was afraid of nearly everything, nearly all the time, but with God’s grace, her life was transformed with the strength of virtue.
Cathy enjoys helping others to be heroes; her Tiny Virtue Heroes storybooks empower readers with the desire for virtue using Jesus’ preferred teaching method of telling stories. With a menagerie of tiny insect and animal “sidekicks,” her stories lead children to admire the heroic virtue of biblical and missionary real-life heroes of holiness. At the same time, she empowers grown-ups to be virtue mentors to help unleash the virtue hero inside of each child they love.

She finds joy in her 30+ year marriage with her husband and their three children, writing, and early morning walks. While Cathy has her sights set on heaven, she says that dogs and chocolate compete for her worldly affections here on earth.
